Preparing for a Hybrid Close Review in Juifang and Taipei

What to gather before an on-site or remote month-end trail review so fieldwork days are spent on judgment, not file hunting.

Hybrid reviews work when the document set is ready before the first meeting. Send read-only access to the evidence store, the prior close checklist, and a list of entities in scope. If paper still dominates, book a room near the files—our Juifang address is available when Taipei offices are crowded during close week.

Name a single close owner as the point of contact. Multiple informal contacts slow sampling because every request waits on a different reply.

Decide early whether we will sample during live close or immediately after. Live sampling catches timing issues; post-close sampling is calmer for the team but may miss late approvals that were backdated in conversation only.

Translate group reporting expectations into local evidence language. English pack summaries help HQ; Chinese source documents remain the authority for local tax and banking support. Label both clearly in the binder index.

A short scope call prevents day-one surprises about ERP modules, shared service centers, or outsourced payroll. Bring those boundaries to the estimate request so the engagement fee matches the real trail.
