Refunds and cancellations
These rules apply to professional engagements booked with Datafluxx for month-end close audit trail management and related support.
Eligibility
Fees paid for scheduled engagements may be refunded in full or in part when cancellation meets the timeframes below. Informational website use has no fee and no refund.
Timeframe for cancellation
- 14 or more days before the agreed kickoff date: full refund of fees paid for that engagement, less any non-refundable third-party room or travel costs already incurred with your approval.
- 7 to 13 days before kickoff: 50% refund of the engagement fee.
- Fewer than 7 days before kickoff: no refund of the engagement fee, unless Datafluxx cancels or a force majeure event prevents delivery.
Deposits
Estimates may require a deposit to reserve close-week capacity. Deposits follow the same cancellation schedule as engagement fees unless the engagement letter states a different deposit rule.
Work already started
If fieldwork, document review, or workshop preparation has begun, fees for completed days or completed milestones are non-refundable. Unused future days on a multi-day Close Desk Support block may be refunded or credited according to the cancellation schedule.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once without penalty when notice is given at least 7 days before kickoff and a mutually available close window exists within three months. Later reschedules may be treated as cancellations for the original dates.
No-shows
If client contacts are unavailable for scheduled kickoff or workshop sessions without prior notice, that day is charged and not refundable.
Non-refundable items
- Third-party room hire or courier costs purchased at your request
- Completed deliverables already issued (trail maps, briefs, readiness notes)
- Workshop materials prepared for a confirmed participant list within 7 days of the session
Refund process and method
Email hello@datafluxx.digital with the engagement reference, payment date, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval. Bank transfer fees charged by intermediary banks are outside our control.
Exceptions
If Datafluxx must cancel for reasons other than client breach, you may choose a full refund or a new date at no extra fee. Statutory rights under Taiwan law that cannot be waived remain available.
